Master Parenting

Marriage is the only job you need a license for that has no test requirement.

But parenting… no license required!

For some reason, not only do our colleges and universities require a parenting course, they don’t even offer parenting courses.

1-2-3 Magic is one of our favorites for basic balanced motivation—it will enable you to avoid the tendency to be a heliocopter or wet-blanket parent.

Another recommended favorite is Jim Fay’s PARENTING WITH LOVE AND LOGIC: Teaching Children Responsibility (and see there for the various sequels).
