Who has the time and energy to sift through the thousands of candidates in order to find the few gem? Every book on this site has been carefully screened for content, writing and other features.
The site is a project of Jewish Spiritual Literacy (JSL), a non-profit educational organization.
The “Goldy” quoted in many of the reviews is a real 12-year-old girl (now 24) who helped us select the most engaging, content-rich kids’ books (Goldy’s younger sisters have taken over for new releases….).
