No Sukkot holiday is complete without a set of the "arba minim" – the four species of plants that are held together. The mitzvah symbolizes Jewish unity as well as personal integrity.
The arba minim include etrog (citron), lulav (palm), hadas (myrtle), arava (willow) and are sometimes called by the nickname "lulav".
In the olden days, Jewish communities struggled to obtain arba minim sets. Sometimes an entire town shared a single set. Today we can order them online and have them delivered overnight to our door. Amazing!
